French by nationality, Mexican by adoption, Swiss educated and currently holding a position in Africa, Rémy Cadière embodies a multi-cultural approach in life and in his career. With over 10 years of leadership experience at international 5 star chains on three continents, Cadière is no stranger to the luxury food & beverage industry.
His journey began as a restaurant assistant manager at the Four Seasons Mexico City before moving on to work at four different properties of the InterContinental family in Spain, Mexico and East Africa.
Cadière joined the Hyatt International Hotels in 2012 where he was first recruited for the pre-opening phase of 2 properties in the Russian Far East and participated on a food & beverage task force during the conversion of 4 new Hyatt properties from a previous hotel chain, including the luxurious Grand Hyatt Cannes Hotel Martinez and the enchanting Hotel du Louvre in Paris.
Cadière is now the Executive Assistant Manager of Food & Beverage at the Hyatt Regency Dar es Salaam, The Killimanjaro. He is in charge of all food & beverage operations for the property’s 180 rooms, its two restaurants, lounge, rooftop bar, pool bar, a nightclub and its large banquet operations. He has a strong focus on guest satisfaction, is known for improving employee engagement through empowerment and accountability and is always open to new challenges.
