BLEND NO. 7470

Granny Smith apples, extremely firm and fragrant, and with a deliciously bright, tart flavor, make for the perfect apple pie. In the 1920's, the phrase "as American as apple pie" started to appear in print, and by the end of WWII, apple pie was a wholesome, comforting thought for the soldiers abroad who were missing their homes and families. Whether or not to put a slice of cheese on top of your apple pie, that's a tradition dating back to 17th and 18th century England, the birthplace of Cheddar and the apple pie. As well as afternoon tea. I think the Duchess of Bedford would approve.

So yummy!

Wow, this tea is excellent in every way. It’s aromatic, smells just like apple pie, and tastes like it too! You won’t be disappointed in this tea if you like apple pie.

What an aroma

I discovered this tea while enjoying afternoon tea at Steakhouse 55 at the Disneyland Hotel. The aroma was simply incredible, like there was an apple pie baking in your oven and filling the whole room with its scent. The taste was light and delightful. I immediately asked the server for the brand of the tea and knew I had to purchase some for home.

My newest discovery

I’ve been raving about your tea for at least a decade. I’ve had some longtime faves, but this one has moved to the front of the line. It smells like a delicious slice of apple pie while still maintaining a green tea taste and soft mouth feel. If you could decaf this tea, I’d drink it all day long.
