Building A Community
We create documentaries to learn and collaborate with experts to discuss important topics around food sustainability, biodiversity, and inclusive design. These learnings are the inspiration behind herbal blends such as The Garden of Secrets and Botanical Powders.

Biodiversity is among all ecosystems, which is why TEALEAVES values the importance biodiversity has to play. The Garden of Secrets initiative is a collaboration with UBC Botanical Garden that explores why protecting biodiversity may be the key to protecting our beautiful planet. Inspired by our explorations, The Garden of Secrets herbal blend was created with 100% of the proceeds being donated to UBC Botanical Gardens.

“A wise herbal merchant sold me a few golden flowers. Later, sipping the infusion, I felt calm and well. Now, I look to my teapot when my spirits need a lift."
Herbal tea - it's not technically a tea at all. Which is why it is naturally caffeine free!
Tea - white, green, oolong, and black - come from the camellia sinensis plant. Herbals do not. Herbals are plants and botanicals originally found in nature, now most often cultivated, or foraged (please be responsible if you forage).
The term "tea" has been added to indicate that it is an infusion with boiling water (leaves and water, herbs/botanicals and water, berries/flowers and water...). And what a pleasurable, multi-purpose infusion it's come to be! Loose leaf herbal tea (or teabags, for the times you need convenience) are enjoyed for reasons of health, wellness, hydration, and pleasure.
Delicious hot, cooled to room temperature, poured over ice - fruit tisanes, herbals and botanicals contain many nutrients that are important to our bodies, including Vitamins A, B2, C, D, E and Folic Acid (B9) and minerals such as Potassium, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium and Manganese.
From the calming, restorative properties of Organic Chamomile Flowers to refreshing Organic Peppermint Leaves, and the superfood properties of Mountain Berry to the stimulating boost of Yerba Mate in our Jetlag AM Energy blend, TEALEAVES sources its herbs, flowers, fruits and botanicals from 60+ countries. Just as we source our teas from the world's tier-1 gardens, we give the same attention to our herbal offerings.
Herbal teas are an indispensible, natural addition to your tea chest - from aiding digestion after a big meal to relieving a headache from too much negative news. The perfect infusion for the times.
