About This Blend

Our Master Blender crafted this blend to highlight the natural scent of jasmine, with the bergamot oil blended in. The sweetness of jasmine leads, followed by a wondrous citrus character. The type of bergamot oil used in an Earl Grey blend makes a significant difference. Natural bergamot essential oil has a more subtle yet well-defined flavor, with zest and a genuine citrus intensity. In contrast, synthetic bergamot tends to be more one-dimensional, often tasting timid in the cup. The former is what we have always chosen to use at TEALEAVES.
