MAKE THE PERFECT CUP OF TEA
Your FAQs, Answered
For Pu-Erh Tou Cha
Referencing our "Make the Perfect Cup of Tea" instructions, take 1 Tou Cha (remove the paper wrapping), place it into a pre-heated teapot or cup, add 16 oz boiling water, and steep 5 + minutes. Respectfully, drink plain.
Pu-Erh tea is most commonly formed into bricks or cakes and traditionally used as a form of currency.
Pu-Erh is a black tea and is therefore high in caffeine, compared to green or oolong tea.
- tea boutique
I got this tea to drink the first thing in the morning as part of my intermittent fasting regimen as Pu-Erh is the only tea suitable to take into empty stomach. Loved it. Then I bought from another tea boutique as an exploration hoping to determine the better one between the two. Let’s just say that I miss this tea every time I drink the new one.
Pu-Erh Tou Cha
On a whim I thought I would try this and bought the small size. This tea is described as earthy and musty, it is both those things. It says it is an aged tea and does come in little pellets. The tea is as described , it is just not for my taste (which is the reason I give it 3 stars, just do to my taste). If you are lover of adjectives used in the description I am certain you would enjoy this tea.
