A Purefect Pear

Delicate and sweetly intoxicating, the Purefect Pear tea cocktail is the perfect sip while watching spring's blossoms unfold. Pear Tree Green tea is infused in Shimizu-No-Mai Pure Snow Sake for an elegantly fruity drink.

The Purefect Pear Sake Cocktail is the collaborative creation of Tealeaves and Shimizu-No-Mai. A departure from our more full-bodied Pear Green Infused Sake, this cocktail opens with the light fragrance of Organic Pear Tree Green Tea, the cocktail then melds into notes of rice and cantaloupe from the Pure Snow Sake— a drink that lingers on both mind and palate, long after the initial sip.

2 Cups Hot Water
2 Tsp. TEALEAVES Organic Pear Tree Green loose Leaf Tea

Organic Pear Tree Green Syrup

2 Cups Sugar
1 ½ Cups TEALEAVES Organic Pear Tree Green Loose Leaf Tea

A Purefect Pear

2 Oz. Organic Pear Tree Green Infusion (see recipe)
4 Oz. Shimizu-No-Mai pure Snow Sake
1 Oz. Organic Pear Tree Green Syrup (see recipe)
Lemon Juice
Lemon Slice

Instructions

Organic Pear Tree Green Infusion

Steep loose tea in hot water for 1 minute and remove leaves.
Note: Take 2 oz. and put aside for cocktail recipe. Use remainder for syrup recipe.

Organic Pear Tree Green Syrup

Add sugar in tea to dissolve.
Bring to boil and let it cool before use.
Note: Cocktail recipe does not require the entire amount. Store remaining syrup in fridge for future use.

A Purefect Pear

Add tea, syrup, sake and a dash of lemon juice in a cocktail shaker.
Shake and serve in a chilled glass.
Garnish with a lemon slice.
