“The Manhattan is a classic cocktail and one of my personal favorites.

It was insane how well the robust flavors of the Mad Hatter’s Teaparty Loose Leaf Blend paired with bourbon. Instead of just infusing a bourbon with the Mad Hatter’s Teaparty, I thought it would be fun to make a special Tealeaves Vermouth!”

The Madhattan

  • 2 oz. Woodford Reserve Bourbon
  • 1 oz. TEALEAVES Mad Hatter's Teaparty Vermouth (see recipe below)
  • 2 Dashes TEALEAVES Aromatic Blended Bitters (Can be Substituted with Angostura Bitters)
  • 1/4 oz. Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur
  1. Fill a shaker with ice.

  2. Measure ingredients in a shaker.

  3. Stir thoroughly with spoon.

  4. Strain cocktail into highball glass filled with ice.

  5. Garnish with orange rind.

Mad Hatter's Teaparty Vermouth

  • 1 bottle Jovino Pinot Gris
  • 1 cup TEALEAVES Mad Hatter's Teaparty Loose Leaf Blend
  • 6 oz. Remy Martin VSOP Infused with Zest of 1 Orange for 1 Day
  • 1 cup Sugar Caramelized with 1/4 Cup Water
  1. Heat wine with tea, reducing the liquid to bring out flavors.

  2. Blend with remaining ingredients.

  3. Cool for later use.
