Midori Kokonattsu

Indulge in the smooth combination of vegetal TEALEAVES Tencha Matcha, paired with the creaminess of white chocolate and pleasant flavours of coconut.

The namesake in Japanese means "Green Coconut", a fitting description for the fusion of flavours brought together in Midori Kokonattsu.

Created at the H Tasting Lounge by Mixologists Chiara Fung and Andrew Kong. Enjoy this lovely cocktail alongside the lovely Sakura in Bloom afternoon tea, held between April 6-28.

“Drawing on flavours of green tea, the velvety creaminess of ice cream, and chalkiness of matcha, this delightfully smooth cocktail strikes the perfect balance of savory and sweet flavour profiles, with pleasant hints of coconut.”

Midori Kokonattsu

  • 2 oz. Chilled TEALEAVES Tencha Matcha 
  • 1 1/2 oz. Yoshi No Gawa Sake 
  • 1 oz. Coconut syrup
  • 1/2 oz. Gin
  • White chocolate foam (to top)
  • For Garnish: TEALEAVES Tencha Matcha
  • Powdered chocolate
  1. Pour all ingredients into shaker tin, add ice and shake hard for 10-12 seconds.

  2. Strain into brandy snifter with 4-5 ice cubes.

  3. Top with white chocolate foam.

  4. Garnish with powdered chocolate and TEALEAVES Tencha Matcha powder.
