Antonio Cardoso is the Executive Chef of Conrad New York, the 463 all-suite luxury hotel located in the Battery Park City section of Lower Manhattan. As Executive Chef, Cardoso oversees daily operations for the hotel’s signature restaurant ATRIO Wine Bar | Restaurant, its rooftop bar Loopy Doopy and all in-room dining. He also manages the green roof garden, incorporating its fresh, seasonal fruits, vegetables and herbs as ingredients in his dishes. In addition, Cardoso is responsible for menu development, training and supervising of culinary functions within the restaurant.
Chef Cardoso brings over 14 years of culinary experience from a myriad of restaurants and luxury hotels throughout New York and the Bahamas, to Conrad New York. Born and raised in Lisbon, Portugal, Cardoso developed a passion for the culinary arts at a young age, inspired by cooking with his grandmother.
