Leon Pellicer

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK

After an ascendant career with the renowned and award-winning luxury hotel company Four Seasons, Leon Pellicer joined Starwood Hotels & Resorts´ luxury brand, the St. Regis. In just a short period of time Leon has successfully opened the three latest St. Regis hotels in North America: the St. Regis Atlanta, the St. Regis Deer Valley in Park City, Utah and the St. Regis Bahia beach in Puerto Rico – La Isla del Encanto before serving as the Director of Restaurants for the St. Regis Resort Princeville in Kauai, Hawaii.

After the opening of the second Four Seasons Hotel in Mexico, and serving for 6 years in different roles at the breathtaking Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita, Leon Pellicer emigrated with the company to the paradisiacal islands of Hawaii where he worked as the Director of Recreation for the Mobil Five-Star and AAA Five-Diamond Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea.

“I have had the pleasure of learning how to truly appreciate tea and be passionate about this vibrant plant, beverage, culture and ritual thanks to the unparalleled service, product and training provided by TEALEAVES and its amazingly wonderful group of inspiring people.”

Leon decided to move to the continental US and the opportunity arose to join another luxurious hotel brand, The St. Regis. He had the pleasure of being part of the very successful opening for the St. Regis Atlanta in Buckhead as their Private Dining and Pool Manager in 2009, before contributing to the new chapter of the St. Regis when transferring and opening the beautiful ski-in ski-out St. Regis Deer Valley in Park City, Utah as the Private Dining and Library Manager.

Prior to his current role, Leon Pellicer was appointed Director of Food and Beverage of Outlets for the first St. Regis Resort in the Caribbean and the only property in the region to proudly hold the Audubon International Gold Signature Sanctuary Certification at the exotic, masterfully planned and naturally perfect St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort in Puerto Rico. Here Leon oversaw the operation of four different outlets, including Bahia’s signature Fern restaurant from renowned Alsatian Michelin-Star Chef, Jean-Georges Vongerichten. Leon has since moved on to another luxury brand as the Director of Food & Beverage for the Mandarin Oriental in New York.
