Kathy Springstead, the Executive Director of Banquet Operations at Mandalay Bay, holds her position as an influential figure in food and beverage services by consistently exceeding standards of service and facilitating outstanding operation.
After serving as the Food & Beverage Director at the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts for 10 years, Springstead joined the MGM Resorts International family in 2003 as the Director of Food & Beverage. Promoted only after a year to the position of Director of F&B, she served in this role for almost 6 years. Following this, Springstead began her role as the Executive Director of Banquet Operations and Mandalay Bay, part of MGM Resorts International.
Kathy Springsted received her Associate of Culinary Arts at the Culinary Institute of America, followed by a BS of Hotel Administration at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
